My name is Phikolomzi Habe from Qunu working at the three components of Nelson Mandela Museum namely Mvezo (Birth place of Dr. Nelson Mandela), Qunu ( Homestead and where he grew up and started his formal education), and Mthatha (Bhunga Building). I have more than six years experience in guiding Tourists from all walks of life but more than six year researching about Dr. Nelson Mandela starting at my early age at Qunu Junior Secondary School when people from Sweden wrote a book ``Mandela a Shepard Boy Who Became President’’ (Reference University of Fort Hare Archives, Alice Campus). Having known that Dr Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela is a world icon, I decided to feather my studies by doing customer service NQF 4 to make sure I am presenting South Africa well and professional to the world. I believe each and every Tourist Guide is a face of South Africa when Tourists see us, they see South Africa or Dr Nelson Mandela. I also did First Aid course to make sure I know what to do should anything happened to our visitors. It is my wish and hope to be part of this good initiate. I am always willing to learn new things and that is the only reason I attend Tourism Indaba in Durban, Lilizela Awards, International Tourist Guides Day Celebration.
